- Alex B met twenty eight members of Nawaibete about how to finish up with their draft constitution and what is required for their registration.
Balaki the chairperson of the group said when the members met they discussed how to come up with ideas that will make the draft acceptable by the government officials.He said the ideas was the mostly the activities or projects that will be done by the group.
Alex B advised them after typing the draft to take to their CDO of their sub county for corrections.This should be done before binding the book. It will help them to avoid repeating the same document.The money for registration, Alex B advised them to start contributing or saving money for the certificate.There is need for them to have a document that will guide them how to work together. The government it is easier to help registered group for some reasons. The group can be monitored and traced any time. The office of the sub county will have a file for the group with all information concerning there activities.
They are required to have minutes of there regular meeting that are connected to their constitution. They need to contribute money that is paid to the government for certificate of registration. They are supposed to sign as members in the document.
The members agreed to meet and find out how much each can contribute for the start. Alex B his next visit together with members will read through the draft ready to be taken to the government officials for corrections.
